Detailed Description:

You can write new program with any tool you want. Manufacturer's service workshop can do all diagnosis and even write upgraded version of program into ECU. But nobody can read your work via OBD or CAN.

Supported Features:

Stop your programs being stolen at car meetings or at concurrent companies !

  • After reading original file from car and making chip file from it, protection using ECUsafe may be applied. Protected file may be written into ECU using your flash tool (if it calculates file checksum while writing) or you must calculate checksum in external program and then write it into ECU .

 

  • As a result file stored in ECU cannot be read anymore. Diagnosis protocols are working normally (you can do identification of ECU, diagnosis of error codes, etc etc). ECU can be re-written with any file using your tool (so factory diagnosis systems can upgrade program in ECU, if applicable). ECU cannot be read. Diagnosis protocols work normally.

 

  • All CAN and K-line reading systems will fail to read file from ECU. They can only write (and thus - overwrite your file). To re-enable reading file from ECU, it must be overwritten with non-protected file (file without ECUsafe protection).

ES2 - VAG EDC16 CP34 (2.5 TDI CR, 2.7 TDI CR, 3.0 TDI CR)
All Au-di, Volks-wagen, Sko-da & Se-at with TDI common rail engines based on EDC16 ECU.
Most popular engines: Au-di/VW Touareg 3.0 TDI, Au-di 2.7 TDI 180 HP, VW Crafter.

ES3 - VAG EDC16 U1/U31 (1.4 TDI, 1.9 TDI, 2.0 TDI, 2.5 TDI, 5.0 TDI)
